The Beam Saw

A pallet of MFC is loaded onto the rear of the Beam Saw.

The large sheets are cut into component panels which are lifted from the front of the saw using a vacuum lifting machine. These cut panels are then transported to the next production process.

Edge Bander

Cut component panels have PVC edging applied using the edge banding machine.

The CNC Routers

The component panels produced by the beam saw are shaped, bored and PVC edged using one of the CNC (Computer Numeric Controller) routers. The CNC programmes are generated in the production office using the latest CAD-CAM computer software.

The CNC Point to Point Boring Machine

Smaller component panels are shaped and bored on the CNC Point to Point borer. It mainly produces machined carcass components for bedroom and office furniture ranges. The second image is the machining head of the boring machine at work.

The Weinig Moulding Machine

Using five cutting heads, the Weinig Moulding Machine transforms timber lengths and squares into shaped timber components. These shaped components are used in the construction of divan bases, table frames, headboard facing etc.

Spray Booth

Furniture units, table tops, chair frames etc are lacquered within the spray shop.

Upholstery Shop

A large range of dining chair frames, office chairs screens etc. are upholstered in customer specified fabrics.

Assembly Line

Machined components are assembled and packed on the assembly line. Packaged products are transported to despatch for delivery or to the stores to replenish stocks.
